What You'll Achieve.
Ensure Wise adheres to regulatory and compliance requirements; Ensure KYC records are kept up to date; Ensure only customers within risk appetite are onboarded; Perform your tasks and responsibilities within the expected key performance indicators

Flexible to work in shifts, Two weekend shifts per month, Three 12:00–20:00 evening shifts per month, Three 14:00–22:00 evening shifts per month, Remaining shifts are typically 09:00–17:00, Shift requirements are mandatory, Shifts may change based on team and business needs, Must have full, unrestricted right to work in Estonia
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of 1 year working experience in EDD, AML or a similar Financial Crime compliance role, Good understanding of the regulatory framework surrounding customer verification, Good understanding of AML/CFT Regulations, Ability to take decisions and apply risk-based approach, Familiarity with reading legal and regulatory documents
Nice to Have
Additional language skills, ICA, CAMS, or equivalent certification (EDD/AML focused)
What You'll Do.
Review and assess high risk customer reports
Provide analysis and approval
Review customer transaction history
Provide insights into customer behaviour patterns
Conduct periodic reviews
Analyse changes in customers history
Analyse account usage
Exercise discretion in setting priorities
Identify customer records requiring review
Take action to obtain information
Follow-up on information requested
Follow-up on documentation requested
Ensure information and documentation meet risk appetite
Onboard and maintain High Risk customers
Conduct in depth analysis
Use provided documentation
Communicate with internal teams
Handle escalated cases
Handle complicated cases
Provide guidance on high risk approval
Provide responses to inquiries
Maintain high understanding of AML/CFT Regulations
Understand impact on business
Understand Wise products
Report activity deemed unusual
Take part in projects
Assist in identifying improvement opportunities
Contribute to policy updates
Contribute to training materials
Contribute to standard operating procedures
