JOB-2401 **Remote** **Duration:** 24 months We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Administrator and Application Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building cloud-native Kubernetes applications and administration of Kubernetes clusters, particularly with RH OpenShift, in bare-metal environments. **Key Responsibilities** * Collaborate with application development teams to deploy, scale, and manage cloud-native applications * Administer and maintain Kubernetes clusters on bare metal and OpenShift platforms. * Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cluster performance and reliability. * Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible, Helm). * Ensure security best practices and compliance standards within the clusters. **Requirements** **Qualifications** * Requires minimum 5 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements * Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science or related field (Required) * Or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required **Skills** * Proven experience developing and deploying cloud-native Kubernetes applications. * Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation. * Linux administration skills (preferred) * Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes clusters (bare metal and/or public cloud environments). * Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (preferred). * Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security within Kubernetes. **Benefits** _The base pay range for this role is $65 - $74 per hour.
