What You'll Do.
providing direct support and relevant subject matter expertise to priority DOW studies through the curation of strategic analysis products
and storing metadata and details of all priority DOW
analyzing feedback and metadata signals from internal customer relationship manager to improve support processes
creating and maintaining database of historical and current DOW studies
coordinating with JDS developers and content managers to improve and develop methodologies and techniques for capturing the metadata of key DOW studies
developing executive summaries and briefings
internal JDS coordination of study material
posting/dissemination of products in a controlled access environment
providing subject matter expertise in key functional domains aligned to Deputy Secretary of War priorities
and analyzing customer feedback monthly
monitoring and evaluating internal data signals and customer feedback weekly
working with JDS product and support teams to develop and implement product/service improvement strategies

CAPE JDS is a multi-source funded and OSD CAPE managed organization responsible for identifying, collecting, developing, analyzing, managing, and disseminating historical, current, and future years U.S. and Non-U.S. forces inventory, capabilities, and deployment data (including planning, programming, and acquisition data) supporting collaborative study teams guided by the Analysis Working Group (AWG). JDS develops standardized data products and analytic tools to support Joint analytic efforts focused on Senior Leader decision support. Additionally, JDS supports AWG led SCI/SAP/SAR studies and analyses. The Knowledge Manager focuses on providing direct support and relevant subject matter expertise to priority DOW studies through the curation of strategic analysis products, tools, and data that can be obtained by Department analysts in outward facing knowledge management tools to increase collaboration and reduce redundancy.
