Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service department

Wash and peel vegetables and fruits
Operate and maintain dish room equipment
Follow principles of sanitation and safety
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work
Remove trash and separate into designated containers
Maintain clean floor in kitchen and dining area
Steam cleanse trash and garbage cans
Scrub out trash and garbage cans
Clean up spills in the kitchen
Clean up spills in the dining area
Clean up spills in own work area
Complete shift work in a timely thorough manner
Inform chef and manager when supplies are low
Follow and observe all company policies and procedures
Follow company standards for attendance and punctuality
Assist in catering orders
Assist in prepping food
Assist in plating food
Assist other functions as needed
Ensure proper presentation of food
Ensure proper portion control
Ensure maintenance of proper serving temperatures
