Frequent standing, reaching, lifting (including occasional overhead lifting), bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, climbing, pushing, twisting, and pulling items weighing 40 lbs or less, Standing or walking 95% of the work day, Occasional climbing and balancing using step stool, Repetitive motions including lifting, keypad entry, chopping, filling and sealing packaging, Make fast repeated movements of fingers, hands and wrists, Use both hands to grasp, grip, move or operate objects or equipment, Willing to travel to multiple schools based on the needs of sites, if requested, Maintains confidentiality of all student information

Must Have

Must annually complete all USDA Mandatory Professional Standards training hours, HACCP standards, school food regulations, health department sanitation standards, Point of Sale system, customer service, Verbal and written communication skills in English, demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions

Nice to Have

May lead training for other kitchen staff members

What You'll Do.

Provide assistance in daily preparation

Develop and promote community relations

Participate in training

Lead training for staff

Complete USDA training hours

Pursue regulatory changes

Provide sustainable solutions

Perform other related duties

Travel to multiple schools

Flexibility in work schedule

Assist in preparation

Ensure compliance with regulations

Follow standard recipe

Follow proper portion sizes

Follow verbal instructions

Assist in setup and cleanup

Ensure timely service to students

Sanitize work stations

Follow HACCP standards

Use kitchen equipment properly

Clean equipment properly

Follow safety precautions

Ensure compliance with food regulations

Ensure compliance with sanitation standards

Take and record cooking temperatures

Take and record serving temperatures

Follow menu instructions

Follow recipe instructions

Produce and understand regulations

Ensure proper food temperatures

Ensure proper appearance

Ensure proper portion sizes

Assist in unloading food items

Assist in storage of food items

Learn and operate Point of Sale system

Reconcile monies daily

Create positive relationships
