What You'll Do.

Assist in daily preparation of school lunch and

Work at a variety of locations

Develop and promote good community relations

Maintain good community relationships with staff

Focus on customer service

Be pleasant and cooperative

Adapt to a variety of assignments and conditions

Store food and supplies

Inventory food and supplies

Participate in training kitchen staff

Complete USDA Mandatory Professional Standards training hours

Pursue upcoming regulatory changes

Provide sustainable solutions

Ensure compliance with HACCP plan

Ensure compliance with health department sanitation standards

Temp and record cooking and serving temperatures

Perform other related duties as assigned

Travel to multiple schools

Maintain a flexible schedule

Assist in preparation of meals

Assist in service of meals

Assist in sale of meals

Follow menu and recipe instructions

Follow standard recipe

Follow proper portion sizes

Follow verbal instructions

Maintain daily meal counts

Maintain production records

Produce and understand regulations regarding preparation

Produce and understand regulations regarding proper food temperatures

Produce and understand regulations regarding food appearance

Produce and understand regulations regarding portion sizes

Assist in set up of serving areas

Assist in cleanup of serving areas

Perform proper sanitation of work stations

Use all kitchen equipment properly
