What You'll Do.
Assist in daily preparation of school lunch and
Develop and promote good community relations
Assist in preparation
Follow menu and recipe instructions
Prepare meals including washing
Follow standard recipe
and verbal instructions
Maintain daily meal counts and production records
Produce and understand regulations regarding preparation
Assist in set up and cleanup of serving
Perform dishwashing and proper sanitation of work stations
Follow and understand all HACCP
Use kitchen equipment properly
Clean equipment properly
Follow all safety precautions
Operate Point of Sale system
Reconcile monies daily
and serving in absence
Critically think and problem solve
Maintain good community relationships
Focus on customer service
and able to work with
Be flexible in learning new concepts
Cooperate with others
Adapt to a variety of assignments and conditions
Store food and supplies
Inventory food and supplies
Participate in training to kitchen staff members
Complete USDA Mandatory Professional Standards training hours
Pursue upcoming regulatory changes
Provide sustainable solutions
Ensure compliance with HACCP plan
Ensure compliance with health department sanitation standards
Temp and record food cooking and serving temperatures
