What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, Minimum of 5-7 years Key Account Management/Senior Sales or related experience with a track record of successful performance, Extensive experience in team building, coordination, collaboration, and detailed strategy planning and execution
Nice to Have
MBA, Demonstrated experience or capabilities in engineering or technical sales
What You'll Do.
and manage strategic partnerships with North American off-highway customers
Analyze each customer’s market position
Communicate customer insights to the Stoneridge Electronics Division
Identify and pursue strategic business opportunities
Develop relationships and internal champions within each account
Engage with key industry influencers to create a comprehensive catalogue of Voice of Customer (VOC) requirements for new products
Work closely and persistently with Product Management and Engineering to ensure new opportunities and roadmap priorities are informed and driven by VOC insights
Build and maintain strong
long-lasting customer relationships
Operate as the lead point of contact for all customer matters (commercial
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to win business
Grow current portfolio of business and ensure profitability
Ensure timely and successful delivery of Stoneridge solutions
Act as “Voice of Customer” in discussions with internal teams
Drive quotation process
Document and track customer open issues and drive their resolution
Drive contract negotiations
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategy on how to best position Stoneridge to win business; Work closely and persistently with Product Management and Engineering; Drive aggressive resolution of customer open issues with all relevant functions (e.g., engineering, operations); Drive contract negotiations with support from the Legal team
