# Kennel Attendant # ## Department: ER ## Location: Calgary, AB ## Position: Part-time ## We are seeking a compassionate and responsible**Kennel Assistant** to join our veterinary hospital team. The ideal candidate will provide daily care and supervision for hospitalized and boarding animals, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This role is critical to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kennel environment that supports both our patients and veterinary staff. Key Responsibilities: * Feed, water, and monitor the health and behaviour of hospitalized or boarding animals. * Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas in accordance with hospital protocols. * Walk animals as appropriate. * Observe and report any changes in animal behaviour or health to veterinary staff promptly. * Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians with basic procedures and animal handling as needed. * Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
