We’re looking for experienced kdb+/q engineers across Canada who are open to relocating to New York under a TN visa. This is a chance to work on high‑performance systems powering real‑time trading, risk and market data at global scale. You’ll be solving complex problems whilst collaborating with top-tier engineers and front‑office stakeholders. Beyond the technical challenge, New York offers exceptional career acceleration and deep exposure to global financial markets. We provide TN visa support to ensure a smooth relocation experience. What You’ll Be Doing * Collaborating with business users to define new application requirements. * Developing, testing, and maintaining clean, performant code for client applications. * Supporting project delivery alongside Project Managers and senior developers. * Working as part of a close-knit team to deliver solutions on time and on budget. * Analysing large-scale time-series data and generating actionable reports. * Mentoring junior developers and contributing to a culture of learning. ## Qualifications What You Bring * 2+ years of hands-on kdb+ development experience. * Solid understanding of q language and time-series data structures. * Experience working in Unix/Linux environments. * Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills. * Familiarity with software development methodologies and the SDLC. * Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team. * Excellent client-facing communication skills. * Prior experience of working in Capital Markets/Investment Banking is a plus but not essential Bonus Skills (Not Required): * Experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking. * Knowledge of
