Eligibility Requirements

security clearance/access to the jail, Valid driver license, 39-month DOT Motor Vehicle Record review, pre-employment background checks, post-offer, pre-employment background screening, personal background investigation

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

High-school diploma or GED, one (1) year of experience providing mentoring, navigating community-based agencies and programs, working collaboratively with a variety of agencies and individuals

Nice to Have

Experience providing case management for at risk and marginalized populations, Personal experience going through the justice and/or behavioral health systems, Experience providing tutoring or mentoring, especially to system-involved populations, Experience providing forensic peer support and community resource navigation, Experience facilitating Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) meetings for at risk and marginalized populations

What You'll Do.

Develops a forensic peer support team

and coordinates substance abuse education

Develops curriculum and training materials

Facilitates individual and group psychoeducation

Assists Program Manager to identify issues

Develops and maintains departmental databases

Develops and coordinates program activities

Provides updates regarding forensic peer support team activities

Maintains record of case management notes

Maintains HIPAA compliance

Works with jail staff to promptly address client

Participates in monthly jail discharge planning

Any other duties may be assigned
