Full Job Description

The Junior Engineer will perform Pulse Current Injection (PCI) and Radio Frequency (RF) RF Testing of US Navy warfare systems in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Electromagnetic Effects Division (B50). **Essential Responsibilities:** * Will provide B30 RF Engineering Support by performing: * Pulse Current Injection (PCI) testing on board Navy ships for Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) assessments; * Radio Frequency (RF) and EMP susceptibility testing at Navy test site installations; * Environmental Electromagnetic Effects (E3) Computation and RF Modeling and Simulation; * Develop detailed test plans; participate in test planning meetings and test readiness reviews; * Gather, reduce / post process, and analyze resulting data; * Prepare and publish detailed test reports; review technical documentation; and contribute to technical meeting support **Minimum Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in electrical engineering. * One (1) year of experience in theoretical and practical aspects of test and evaluation. * Experience with MATLAB and RF modeling/simulation software applications. * Experienced with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, etc.). * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with focus on RF / microwave / antenna engineering * Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following specific areas: RF Engineering and analysis; E3 / Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) / Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC); RF Computation and simulation. **Compensation Details:** US: $80,000 to $100,000 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
