What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Prior India payroll processing experience of at least 1-2 years in a high growth, product or service led company, Payroll skills - you’ll have experience in preparing, processing, correcting, and auditing most aspects of payroll - as well as the ability to learn new payroll processes efficiently, Above average tech skills – particularly with Google Docs, Sheets, and Microsoft Excel for use of pivot tables, charts, etc - as well as being proficient in using payroll software

What You'll Do.
and timely processing of payroll

Partnering with third-party payroll vendor and their advisors to strive for accuracy
and process payroll more efficiently
Developing robust & detailed processes to ensure the execution of payroll in an effective
Providing a variety of deliverables
including global projects
pre-post payroll journals
Providing input regarding team goals
and future optimization of the payroll team
Servicing 25+ countries using Workday (HRIS)
while focusing specifically on APAC Wisers
Supporting in the global payroll transformation project
moving to our Global Payroll Provider (Cloudpay)
reviewing and analyzing payrolls according to established deadlines
Ensuring timely submission of payroll inputs to third party payroll provider
Recommending new approaches
policy and procedure changes towards continuous improvement within the team
Ensuring payrolls balance to inputs
Responsible for all documentation within historical payroll files
Increasing subject matter expertise on allocated locations
on all payroll and legislative matters
providing support as needed to others
Providing additional processing/transaction support as needed
Ensuring compliance across local payroll tax laws
while meeting applicable timelines effectively and efficiently
Staying current with regulation changes affecting payrolls to ensure accuracy and service to customers
Completing and responding to regulatory agency inquiries
Responsible for outputs of payrolls
such as payroll journals
Ensuring all reporting and data is completed timely
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partnering with our third-party payroll vendor and their advisors; Partnering with your Lead to recommend new approaches, policy and procedure changes; Working with the Payroll team and the Payroll Lead to provide additional processing/transaction support; Partnering with peers and cross-checking assigned payrolls
