The Junior Packaging Engineer is an entry-level engineering role designed for fresh graduates or early-career engineers eager to build expertise in packaging design, testing, and qualification within a world-class technology company. You will work closely under the guidance of Senior Packaging Engineers, gaining hands-on experience across packaging design, lab testing, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is a strong foundation for a long-term engineering career at Western Digital. Key Responsibilities : Design & Documentation * Assist in packaging design and development activities under senior engineer supervision * Prepare and maintain packaging specifications, BOMs, and technical drawings * Support CAD modeling and packaging structure updates Testing & Qualification * Execute packaging tests per ISTA/ASTM protocols (drop, vibration, compression, climate) * Record, compile, and analyze test data;
