Must Have
Tertiary qualification or Diploma in WHS/Environmental Science (or actively pursuing), Up to 2 years' experience in HSE, compliance, or project coordination, organizational and written communication, foundational knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, Genuine interest in HSSE career development, Collaborative team orientation, Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint, Current or willingness to obtain White Card and First Aid, Ability to travel to sites across Australia, Eligible for DoD security clearance (prerequisite)
What You'll Do.
Maintain HSSE registers and logs
Coordinate with JBS Manila on data accuracy
Assist with document preparation
Attend project sites to understand risks
Assist with site inspections and safety walks
Support site induction processes
Develop observation and facilitation skills
Shadow senior team members on inspections
Work toward HSSE qualifications
Demonstrate initiative and take ownership
Participate in team planning
Contribute improvement ideas
Manage workload and escalate issues
Represent the HSSE function
Maintain required certifications
Stay current with WHS obligations
