What They're Looking For.

Must Have

1+ years of experience in Client Finance, FP&A or similar Finance/Accounting position, Accounting/Finance degree, Advanced knowledge of Excel/Google spreadsheets, Familiar with accounting software (Netsuite is our ERP)

Nice to Have

Finance experience with the Professional services industry a plus (Agency, Consulting etc)

About the Role Now, about the opportunity: In this supporting Client Finance position at Monks, you are a trusted finance expert supporting one or more Account Leads and a Client Finance Lead. You will develop an understanding of the client team’s business priorities, drive continuous financial improvements and maintain billing & reporting accuracy for the business. This is a role where you’ll partner across the global finance and operations teams as an advocate for process and an integrator of teams. You will be a liaison between regional invoicing teams and your client team, reporting into a Client Finance Lead supporting North America business. Our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities, with a natural aptitude for collaboration and a strong grounding in finance. Responsibilities: Specific activities will span everything from: MSA/SOW contract reviewing, client invoicing, project financial tracking, employee utilization tracking, vendor management and reconciliation, variance commentary writing, margin analysis, completing client/internal reporting templates Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and close to guide strategic and tactical decision making Analyze information and deliver insights to make initiatives more efficient and effective Support key account leaders through analytics, reporting, and regular meetings Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization Accurately track actual versus fore
