What They're Looking For.
Must Have
SQL fundamentals: writing joins, window functions and CTEs, Up to 1 year of previous work experience (internships, side projects or academic work all count)
Nice to Have
Any exposure to dbt, Looker, BigQuery or experiment analysis, Exposure to Python or similar. You've dabbled in scripting., Storytelling skills: experience "packaging" facts into a story that helps insights cut through the noise., German is a plus

Team & Collaboration
Partner with Product, Commercial, Medical and Operations teams to scope questions properly before touching any code; Work side-by-side with our Data Engineers, Product, Engineering, Commercial, Medical and Operations colleagues; Help product teams design and set up experiments and look at the results and interpret them together; Working openly with others; Value direct feedback in both directions and you ask for help before you've been stuck for too long

ROLE OVERVIEW As a Junior Data Analyst at AMBOSS you are a problem-solver who happens to use data. This is not a traditional dashboard-building role. We expect Analysts to operate the full stack: from raw data transformations and modelling in dbt to producing the insights that drive stakeholder decisions.
