Full Job Description
## Company: Mercer ## ## Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Actuarial Valuations team at Mercer. This role will be based in Mercer. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. You will be working as part of a team supporting more experienced analysts and project managers in all aspects of the Pension Plans & Retirement area. **We will count on you to:** * Request, gather, review and upload client data, and assist in the preparation of actuarial valuations, participant statements and/or client listings and perform required financial analyses using proprietary and vended software; * Reconcile data and assets from previous valuations and prepare summaries of data, assets, and benefits defined in the plan documentation; * Escalates data or plan questions related to valuations and benefit calculations to more senior analysts; * Helps prepare government forms and our regulatory documentation; * Perform Actuarial calculations; * Collaboration with client team and project team; * Ensure projects are delivered on-time and to the high standards required. **What you need to have:** * Bachelors or Master’s in Actuarial, Mathematics, Economics, Management, Biology, Finance, Engineering or similar. * Fluent English level (B2/C1). * Attention to detail is critical. * Strong problem solving skills & ability to clearly articulate complex issues. * Excellent planning and organizational skills in order to prioritize and effectively manage a wide variety of ongoing tasks, in order to meet the multiple deadlines. * Proactive and goal oriented. * Good team player. **Why join our team:** * We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders. * We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities. * Our scale enables us to provide a range
