As a Junior Accountant in our Private Enterprise team, you’ll work with the small and medium‑sized businesses that drive Aotearoa’s economy - gaining hands‑on experience while you study toward becoming a Chartered Accountant. Assist in preparing annual accounts and tax returns, or monthly management work, initially focusing on smaller and more straightforward clients (including data entry, spreadsheet work, drafting accounts, etc.). Respond to client queries and support the compliance team in managing client relationships concerning income tax, GST, and other indirect taxes. Attend in-house or external training to enhance your knowledge and proficiency in using professional accounting software. Apply your learning directly to practical challenges, gaining hands-on experience. Provide insightful financial solutions and advice to help businesses thrive. Balance your work commitments with part-time study as you progress toward becoming a Chartered Accountant. Embrace opportunities for professional development and career advancement within the firm.
