Eligibility Requirements

Must be able to travel to any Superior Court location for coverage assignments as directed by Judicial Clerk Supervisor, Staff/Trainer, Family Court Administrator/designee, or Family Court Presiding Judge based on the needs of the department., Assignments will be of varied duration (i.e. one day, one week and/or several months)., Some assignments may be eligible for mileage reimbursement., Must be able to sit for long periods of time, Must be able to stand, walk, use hands to finger handle or reach with hands and arms, Occasionally push, pull or lift up to 20 pounds.

High school diploma or GED, Three (3) years of administrative experience, Must possess or obtain a valid Arizona driver’s license at the time of hire

What You'll Do.

Provides all administrative support to Family Court Judge or Commissioner as a Judicial Assistant and/or Courtroom Assistant.

Arranges for interpreters and other court services as necessary.

Reviews case files for completeness and contacts interested parties for missing information.

Prepares information for Judge's or Commissioner's review prior to hearings.

Answers questions in person and by telephone from self-represented litigants

Provides administrative support for customer service as necessary.

**Posting Date** 05/21/26 **Application Deadline** 05/28/26 **Pay Range** Min - 1st Quartile - Mid - Max $23.00 - $26.25 - $29.50 - $36.00 The expected ENTRY pay range for this position, based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch, is $23.25 to $26.00.
