What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Three (3) years of administrative experience, High School diploma or GED
Nice to Have
Experience working in a court system, law office, or other legal setting, Experience with court procedures, legal terminology, and the legal requirements for processing court documents, Experience interacting with judges, commissioners, or attorneys, Completion of an accredited legal secretary or paralegal training program or certification
What You'll Do.
Provide administrative support to the Judge
Prepare and maintain court calendars
Coordinate interpreters
Review case files for completeness
Prepare information for Judge's review
Prepare courtroom and manage calendar flow
Assist in case flow management
Handle requests and inquiries from stakeholders
and jury instructions
Perform duties of Courtroom Assistant
