What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, 1+ yr. experience in software development, Internship or co-op experience in electronics/controller integration
Nice to Have
Experience working with BMS protocols, Integrating Home Automation System kit, Experience in API integration is valuable, Understanding of Cloud development and protocols, Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems programming, Experience with VRF or Ductless mini-split HVAC systems, Understanding electrical wiring
What You'll Do.
Contribute to development
testing and maintenance of applications
Setup controls test infrastructure
Determine root cause by working with US and
Work on requirements gathering
Post release/enhancement and maintenance of the application
Collaborate with members of R&D
Breakdown complex VoC into functional technical requirements
SRS and other development workflows

Maintain properly documented release notes

As an early career Software Engineer at LG Electronics proprietary controls components and systems integration solutions, this role will support the application and development of new and existing applications, software, devices, HMIs in the Controls R&D team to meet market demands regionally and nationally throughout the North American market. This includes development and testing, reviewing market trends and learning LG’s proprietary controls to help position LG Electronics for continued success.
