**Responsibilities:** ## **1** **Planning and execution of assigned NPI products (45%)** * Support the team in planning and reviewing characterization plans, schedules, and hardware requirements. * Learn to define, integrate, and implement product-specific characterization test benches—pulling together test equipment, PCB hardware, software, and fixtures, with growing exposure to optical and electrical products where required. * Bring up and develop repeatable, reliable automation solutions (Python, VISA, data processing) under guidance from senior team members. * Analyze results and data using tools like JMP, Python, and Excel, and review findings with the core team. * Work closely with other teams, locally and at other sites, to support execution of characterization activities to schedule. ## **2\. Tool and process development (25%)** * Learn and contribute to Python automation and the team's characterization repository. * Begin adding and improving automated test methods and post-processing techniques under senior guidance. * Adopt and actively use Claude AI daily to boost efficiency. ## **3\. Self-development (30%)** * Actively build skills and knowledge in relevant areas—like new test equipment, electronics, signal integrity, automation/programming, standards, packaging, connections, company processes, tools, etc.
