Under this role the Journeyperson Electrician reads and interprets drawings, blueprints and electrical code specifications. The Journeyperson Electrician is also responsible for planning layout and illustration of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on specifications. The Journeyperson Electrician inspects electrical systems, components and equipment to identify defects and to ensure compliance with codes. This is a senior role which requires performance evaluation, coaching mentoring and training of Electrician Apprentices _ **Responsibilities** * Installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of different electrical systems, faulty equipment and apparatus including transformers, circuit breakers, switches, switchgears, instrument transformers, relays and other related equipment (500kV, 240kV, 144kV, 69kV, 25kV, 13.8kV). * Installation of structural steel, installation of buried utilities. * Operation of construction equipment such as skid steer, min
