What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Journeyman Millwright Certification required, High school education or equivalent, Forklift and Rigging Certification, Ability to read, write, and understand written specifications, procedures and prints, Must possess good organizational and communication skills, Must possess excellent mechanical aptitude, above average hand dexterity, Ability to use various measuring devices, Must be able to operate basic maintenance equipment, Be able to lift up to 75 pounds, bends, twists & turns, reach lower than knee, push and pull, squat and kneel
Nice to Have
Additional experience, training or formal education is beneficial, Familiar with cold heading, hot forging, grinding, CNC and roll thread equipment a plus
What You'll Do.
Ensure machine alignment
Troubleshoot hydraulic machinery
Troubleshoot pneumatic machinery
Troubleshoot general machinery
Make temporary repairs
Perform preventive maintenance
Identify potential issues
Correct potential issues
Remove worn out pieces
Lubricate mechanical parts
Communicate repair problems
Discuss repair problems
Review repair problems
Work in compliance with OSHA guidelines
Follow industry standards for industrial safety
