High school diploma or GED, Current Journeyman Lineman designation, Thorough knowledge of electricity, Knowledge of NEC, Knowledge of NESC, Knowledge of OSHA rules, Valid driver's license, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL – Class A), CPR and First Aid certificate, Pole top and bucket rescue, Able to work in confined spaces, Able to operate all equipment, Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office, Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Reside within 20-mile radius of Boone County Courthouse Square

The Journeyman Lineworker possess demonstrated experience and proficiency in all aspects of electric distribution line work. This position performs the construction, maintenance, repair, and emergency restoration of energized and de-energized overhead and underground distribution lines, as well as related equipment and facilities.
