What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of 1 year of diesel mechanic, heavy truck, or equipment repair experience, Valid driver’s license, personal tools required to perform job duties, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics, Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team
Nice to Have
3+ years preferred for Mechanic level roles, CDL preferred or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe, Welding and fabrication experience preferred, Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and safety regulations
What You'll Do.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers
Diagnose and repair electrical
Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues
Conduct DOT and OSHA-compliant safety inspections
Review and address Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)
Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks
Test drive vehicles to verify repair quality and performance
Accurately document repairs
and organized shop environment
Follow all safety procedures
including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
