Industry & Context.
Fly-in/fly-out travel, Safety sensitive position, Criminal Background, drug, alcohol and fit to work testing, Stand and walk for extended periods, Work day and night shifts, Lift and move up to 50 lbs, Perform repetitive tasks, Navigate between hot cooking lines, coolers, freezers, and prep stations, Wear full PPE, Extended periods away from rotational schedule required, Physical stamina and long hours
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Culinary Management degree or equivalent, Journeyman or Interprovincial Red Seal Certificate, Advanced Food Safety certification, Minimum 10 years of experience in the hospitality/food service industry, minimum of 2 years of remote camo experience, Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef in hotels or remote camp kitchens
What You'll Do.
Oversee all kitchen operations
Lead menu planning and development
Supervise and mentor Sous Chefs
and kitchen support staff
Ensure consistent food quality
and vendor relationships
Conduct regular audits and inspections
Implement and enforce FOODSAFE protocols
Monitor and report on food costs
Coordinate with maintenance personnel
Engage with clients and guests
Support training programs
Lead daily briefings and safety meetings
