Jetstar Engineering Jetstar’s Apprentice Program is proudly based at our Melbourne Engineering Precinct, the main maintenance hub of our network, with alimited number of roles also available at Sydney Airport. Apprentices gain hands‑on experience working on Jetstar and customer aircraft including A320/A321, B787 and A321 Freighters. You’ll receive structured training, mentoring from experienced engineers and exposure to a wide range of engineering tasks, setting you up for a long‑term career as a Jetstar Engineer. For 2027, we are recruiting across the Avionics, Mechanical and Structures trade streams. Depending on your chosen trade, typically your role will include: Avionics Apprentice - maintains, inspects and undertakes fault diagnostics of electrical, instrument and radio systems and accessories on the aircraft.
