Full Job Description
**As a JavaCard Applets Architect you will be responsible for:** * Translate market requirements from customers into product specifications. * Design and develop secure JavaCard applets for car access, battery management, telematic systems, identification, payment and other services. * Ensure proper internal unit and system tests, support functional and security testing at external test houses. * Give technical guidance to the development team. **As candidate for this role you have:** * Bachelor or Master’s degree (computer science or similar) * 6+ years JavaCard Applet development experience for mass-market products * Experience with compliancy certification of e.g. payment and eGovernment applications * Solid understanding of Secure Element/smartcard internal workings. * Good understanding of cryptographic algorithms (e.g. DES, AES, RSA, ECC, PKCS) * Strong communication skills, experience with diverse teams (cultural, geographical) * Experience in technically leading and steering multi-site software development teams * Fluent English skills both verbally and written. * Basic knowledge of automotive standards and procedures (IATF16949, FMEA, ASPICE, CMMI, ISO26262) * Experience in technically collaborating in a cross-industry organization (e.g. Car Connectivity Consortium) is a plus Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks.
