As our Java Technical Referent you’ll raise the engineering bar, define standards, and deliver accurate, scalable backend services that the team and stakeholders can trust. A key part of your impact will be reducing manual reviews through robust, deterministic logic and targeted automation that improves reliability and throughput. You will collaborate closely with leaders and engineers to maintain and improve the architecture of the finance core micro systems in general. This is a Technica Referent, a high-autonomy role with clear accountability for correctness and scalability. ## What will you be doing? Lead the design and delivery of reliable Java microservices for finance core and finance core reconciliation, ensuring accuracy, performance, and scalability. Define and enforce engineering standards, acting as the technical bar-raiser for the group. Audit, maintain, and improve existing repositories Drive automation to reduce manual reviews and errors (e.g., rules engines, validations, alerts, auto-reconciliation flows) and continuously optimize workflows.
