Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications, microservices, and backend systems supporting enterprise platforms. Translate functional and technical requirements into efficient and scalable software solutions. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure seamless system integrations across internal and external services. Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, analysts, and stakeholders throughout Agile development cycles. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for software defects and system issues. Conduct unit testing and contribute to automated testing and quality assurance efforts. Support code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute to technical documentation. Assist with deployment activities and production release support. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong focus on Java. Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and backend web services. Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, or similar Java-based frameworks. Experience working with SQL and relational database systems. Proficiency with Git or other source control systems. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative, fast-paced environments. Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and automated testing frameworks.
