What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of professional experience with Java (Java 11 or higher), Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles, Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL) and ORM tools like Hibernate/JPA, Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, problem-solving and communication skills, Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud platforms — AWS, Azure, or GCP, Knowledge of reactive programming (Spring WebFlux, Project Reactor), Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch), Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies, Contributions to open-source Java projects
