**Java Developer (5 to 6yrs) - Pune** Are you curious, motivated, and forward-thinking? Our talented people empower us, and we believe in being part of a team that is open, collaborative, entrepreneurial, passionate and above all fun. **About the team** : * The Payments Team serves as a central hub for delivering secure, scalable, and real-time money movement solutions across the organization. * The team supports end-to-end payment processing, including account validation, transaction posting, and payment lifecycle management across multiple core banking systems such as IBS and Horizon. * The Nexus team, now integrated within Payments, focuses on the core integration and connectivity layer enabling seamless communication between payment systems, banking cores, and external partners. * The platform leverages a microservices-based architecture to support inbound and outbound payment flows across multiple channels such as APIs, SFTP, SOAP, and bank integrations. * The team works closely on Open Banking and Money Movement Hub (MMH) initiatives, delivering capabilities for real-time payments including RTP and FedNow. * The overall architecture is evolving towards a cloud-native, event-driven ecosystem with strong emphasis on scalability, observability, and resilience. **What you will be doing** * Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot for Payments and Nexus components. * Build and enhance APIs for account validation and transaction processing across core banking platforms such as IBS and Horizon. * Work on the Nexus integration layer to enable connectivity between payment hub systems, internal services, and external partners. * Develop and support event-driven payment flows using messaging frameworks such as JMS or Kafka. * Contribute to Open Banking initiatives, including real-time payment processing and r
