What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proven experience in IT sales within an MSP environment, Current and significant expertise with solutions like managed services, server deployments, LAN / WAN, Microsoft, hardware deployments, cloud migration, or cybersecurity, ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-driven messages for non-technical stakeholders, Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth for medium-sized businesses, Comfortable in a dynamic technical sales environment that comprises a high volume of lower value opportunities / projects, Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid environment, Relevant IT qualification or degree (e. g. , Computer Science, Information Technology), Willingness to travel for client-facing activities
Nice to Have
Expertise in WAN/LAN, cloud migration, server deployment, Microsoft rollout/license management, and cybersecurity, Experience with CRM tools (esp Dynamics) and sales tracking platforms, Industry certifications (e. g. , Microsoft 365, AWS Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Security+), Familiarity with managed IT services or Mobile Device Management (MDM)
What You'll Do.
Engage with clients to assess IT needs and recommend solutions
Develop and present compelling technical proposals and high/low-level designs
including costings for IT deployments (30-150 seats)
Conduct product demonstrations to showcase ARO’s IT solutions
Partner with account managers and technical teams to ensure seamless solution integration and exceptional client experiences
Provide clear solution documentation into the project team
Stay informed on industry trends
and emerging IT technologies
Contribute to the full sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure
training account managers
championing IT solutions internally
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Working closely with our Corporate SMB Account Management teams and out IT Technical resources; Partner with account managers and technical teams to ensure seamless solution integration and exceptional client experiences; Provide clear solution documentation into the project team; Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid environment
