DIRECTV is seeking an experienced and strategic IT Technical Portfolio Manager to oversee and ensure successful delivery of key initiatives in business-aligned portfolios of work. This critical role will partner with IT team members and stakeholders across the company to understand portfolio needs and deliver outcomes that support company goals and objectives. The position is accountable for overseeing the successful delivery of all key business-sponsored initiatives, ensuring that all IT teams deliver on their commitments across various portfolios, including strategic initiatives and business-supporting work. This governance role requires expertise in managing complex IT programs and maintaining strong partner relationships to drive technological advancement and business value. **Here 's what you’ll do:** * **Oversee the governance, execution, and delivery of complex IT programs and initiatives (70%):** * Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT programs across multiple teams. * Develop and implement program governance frameworks and methodologies. * Monitor program progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies. * Ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. * Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve dependencies and conflicts. * Lead program steering committees and decision-making forums. * **Manage governance, communications, and partner relationships (30%):** * Establish and maintain effective governance structures for the IT portfolio. * Develop and implement communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners and IT stakeholders. * Provide regular status updates and reporting to executive leadership. * Facilitate alignment between IT initiatives and business objectives. * Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparency across all IT initiatives. * **Additional responsibilities:**
