How You Will Make an Impact: The IT System Administrator will work as part of a small team at a fast paced, high-energy manufacturing environment at both the Kermit TX and Monahans TX locations. Responsibilities Ability to work in a manufacturing environment both indoors and outdoors, diagnosing full functionality of computers interfacing to factory equipment, process controls, monitoring, and automation. Demonstrated experience providing desktop support for local and remote office staff Demonstrated experience administering production Windows Server Operating Systems including on-premise, at remote locations, and in cloud service providers such as Office 365 and Azure. Demonstrated experience administering virtualization software such as VMware or Hyper- V. Experience administering Shared storage environments such as DAS, NAS. and SAN devices from vendors such as HP, Dell, Network Appliance, and EMC. Ability to deploy moderately complex IT infrastructure into multiple geographic locations, including optimized virtualization, on premise or cloud Exchange email administration, advanced Active Directory administration, ERP, and Business Intelligence systems, Web presence, and more. Familiarity with the installation and operation of a variety of open-source software such as Linux, Apache, PHP and others.
