What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1 year of teaching experience, 1 year of IT Work experience, Current A+ certification (Current Edition 1001-1002 Series), Google IT Support Professional Certificate, Network+ Certification (Current edition N10-007), Experience implementing network technologies in business environments with a focus on the deployment of TCP/IP suite protocols, Advanced knowledge of Windows, Apple, and Linux operating systems (end-user and server versions), Thorough understanding of security concepts, models, and experience with implementation in business environments
Nice to Have
Experience with curriculum, syllabus development and lesson planning, Experience with methods and strategies to explain and clarify complex topics to students with diverse experiences and educational backgrounds, Ability to connect real-life work scenarios to the teaching environment, Ability to help students apply professional skills to their delivery and participation in the classroom, Experience with student and talent to continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum, Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience), 3 years + IT work experience, Experience teaching technical courses, Experience teaching remotely, Experience in workforce development, Linux production experience, Knowledge of cloud services technologies i. e. AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Additional Industry certifications
