Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Kuiper IT Services is looking to hire a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support for our infrastructure, warehousing operations, production environments, and laboratory facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring reliable technology systems across our organization. Code-10037 Key job responsibilities * This shift is a Night-Shift position, Wed-Sat with an 6PM start time. * Process tickets via approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) to triage and resolve customer issues. * Provision, Deploy, and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, and maxOS workstations * Provision, Deploy, and troubleshoot bare-metal windows and Linux servers * Configure, Deploy, and Replace network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls * Participate in hiring, training and development of others * Provide technical support for Kuiper Production, lab and launch Infrastructure, components, and associated software * Provide remote support for Kuiper employees and infrastructure worldwide * Perform scheduled maintenance and system upgrades * Assist with project implementations and technology deployments * Drives engineering best practices (e.g., Operational Excellence, Security, Quality, etc.) and set standards. * Participate in on-call responsibilities. * up to 25% Travel Requirements Export Control : This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it w
