Full Job Description
As a Technical Recruiter for the Staffing team, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, qualifying, and closing top IT talent to support a high velocity IT staffing sales organization in the Greater Richmond market. You will work hand in hand with the Business Development Executive (Staffing) and ePlus Account Executives to translate client requirements into precise recruiting strategies and deliver candidates who match on skills, culture, rate, and timeline. In this role, you will combine proactive talent sourcing, rigorous screening, and strong candidate relationship management with a deep understanding of IT roles and the Richmond staffing market. You will play a critical role in helping us win and deliver on IT staffing engagements by ensuring our clients experience consistent quality and speed in every search. Your Impact The essential functions of this position include: Partner closely with the IT Staffing Business Development Executive and Account Executives to understand client environments, project initiatives, and role requirements, and to shape effective recruiting strategies for each requisition. Own the full recruiting lifecycle for IT contract, contract to hire, and direct hire roles, including intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding support. Source proactively for high demand IT skill sets (cloud, security, data center, networking, DevOps, application development, data/AI, end user computing) using job boards, social media, referrals, events, and direct outreach. Build and maintain deep talent pools and pipelines within the Richmond market for core technical skill categories and key client accounts, ensuring rapid response to new staffing opportunities. Conduct thorough technical and behavioral screenings to validate candidates’ skills, experience, communication, and cultural fit based on client expectations and project context.
