Responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, troubleshoot and support software systems for manufacturing semiconductors; these systems schedule, track, manage and report on products produced at World-wide Micron Fabs • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and make suggestions to resolve production and process issues • Collaborate on a world-wide scale in gathering and evaluating customers’ requirements and specifications • Provide incident and problem management for MES systems • Provide technical support to customers as needed for problem identification and resolution • Provide constant update and training to customers and support personnel on applications, tools, utilities and new features required to track the products and tools in the FAB • Participate in testing of new software releases with all sites to ensure smooth release of changes to production • Track and report indices to monitor systems performance and highlight abnormalities or make recommendations to improve situation • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, developers and infrastructure groups across all sites • Communicate timely status to the customers, team and managers • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation • Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering • Experience in the following areas: • Developing and/or managing software applications • Database technologies (such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle or similar products), and in performance and tuning for database products • Linux, Unix and Windows environment • Good knowledge in C#/C++ programming
