We are looking for an IT Software Development Manager to join the IT Games & Studios department. You will lead a distributed software engineering team responsible for building and maintaining scalable products used by IT and production teams at Ubisoft. This role requires a strong balance of technical leadership, Agile delivery ownership, and product oriented thinking, with the ability to operate effectively across global teams and time zones. As the IT Software Development Manager, your key responsibilities are: Team Leadership & Delivery * Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions * Drive technical excellence, code quality, and engineering best practices * Ensure on-time delivery through effective planning, tracking, and risk management * Foster a collaborative, ownership-driven team culture Product & Stakeholder Collaboration * Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions * Contribute to product roadmap discussions with a strong understanding of product impact * Balance technical feasibility, user needs, and delivery timelines Agile / Scrum Execution * Facilitate and evolve Agile/Scrum practices within the team (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives) * Ensure transparency of progress, blockers, and risks * Continuously improve team efficiency and delivery processes Technical Leadership * Provide architectural guidance and participate in key technical decisions * Encourage the adoption of modern technologies, including AI-driven development patterns * Promote open-source contribution minds
