What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3-5+ years IT MSP experience, minimum of 2+ years of hands-on project engineering experience, experience implementing IT infrastructure projects from design through completion, Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Proficiency with Azure, Proficiency with Windows Server, Proficiency with AD, Proficiency with common MSP toolsets (RMM, PSA), Solid understanding of CCNA-level networking, Ability to work independently, Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, Excellent written communication, Excellent verbal communication, Aptitude for time and note entry within a PSA, Understanding of predictive project methodologies, Understanding of hybrid project methodologies, Located in or near New York City, Able to comfortably travel to client sites

As an IT Project Engineer you will join our team and lead the implementation of client-facing technical projects across the New York City area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced MSP environment, is comfortable working on-site with clients, and has a deep understanding of multi-tenant support, project execution, and modern IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and upgrading systems across a wide range of client environments. Your work as an IT Project Engineer has several components: Function as a hands-on, technical element of client project delivery, including but not limited to: Client onboardings and offboardings Network installations and migrations Windows server-to-server or server-to-cloud migrations Office builds and moves MDM/MAM + Conditional Access implementation Collaborate with project managers and account teams to provide regular updates and create and update documentation. Function as an escalation
