Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field of study and 3+ years’ experience in program management with a focus on program planning and implementation or an associate’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in program management with a focus on program planning and implementation. In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent and 7+ years’ experience in program management with a focus on program planning and implementation will be considered, knowledge of Agile frameworks, standards, program management methodologies, and best practices, Excellent communication and presentation ability to work effectively across diverse teams, Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks, Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate complex situations and make data driven decisions, Continuous learning orientation with adaptability to an evolving technology landscape, understanding of the intersection between business and technology, Ability to influence decision making through quantitative and qualitative analysis, Results oriented with problem solving and decision making capabilities, Ability to work independently with limited supervision and respond constructively to feedback, Valid driver’s license

Nice to Have

10+ years' experience in program management with a focus on program planning and implementation, Experience in the Energy & Utility industry or services industry, PMP, PgMP, and/or Agile certifications, Experience with Microsoft Project or other PM tools, Experience with Microsoft PowerBI, Experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM) practices

The IT Program Manager will develop execution strategies and programs that align to Central Hudson’s corporate strategy. The IT Program Manager is competent in both leading diverse teams and delivering business solutions. This role requires a very detailed understanding of PMI practices and frameworks and is responsible for driving adoption across the business. The IT Program Manager will be instrumental in working with and providing expertise to various project teams across the business.
