Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing. **Responsibilities, but not limited to** * Install, upgrade database systems, apply patches and implement changes when required. * Diagnose and resolve database errors ensuring high availability of database systems. * Manage databases access, backups and ensure compliance with database and security standards. * Perform changes to critical databases related to manufacturing and engineering. * Support incident, request, change, and problem management tasks associated with database operations. * Ensure SLA for incidents and service requests are met with high quality of work. * Provide oncall support, including outside of office hours. * Ensure critical metrics, such as breach case target, MTTR and first level resolution target are met. * Perform business continuity planning and capacity forecast for database systems * Collaborate with site customers on new database requirements, problem resolution and data flow requests. * Performance tuning of databases to ensure high performance and availability. * Monitor database performance proactively and perform analysis of cases to prevent recurring issues. * Review and enhance database monitoring when required. * Develop processes and operation procedures related to database operations. * Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards. * Engineer solutions and automations to improve productivity and efficiency of database operations and reliability and availability of the database systems. * Recommend and im
