****Job Description:**** The aviation IT & EFB Administrator is responsible for managing the technological ecosystem that supports our Approved Training Organization (ATO) operations. This hybrid role bridges aviation operations and IT, ensuring that flight crews and trainees have reliable, up-to-date hardware (corporate iPads) and critical aviation software (such as FlySmart by Airbus). Additionally, this role drives operational efficiency by managing local networks, deploying web solutions, and developing custom applications using Google Workspace ecosystem and Google Apps Script. ****Responsibilities**** **Aviation Software & EFB Administration** * Software Updates & Compliance: Ensure all operational software is strictly maintained to the latest approved versions, adhering to aviation regulatory standards. * FlySmart & Navigation Charts: Manage the deployment and regular updating of Airbus FlySmart applications, electronic navigation charts (e.g. Jeppesen, Navigraph), and aircraft performance databases. * Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving software glitches, sync issues, or data discrepancies on EFB devices. **Device & Asset Management** * Provisioning & Deployment: Configure, deploy, and manage the lifecycle of corporate iPads used as Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) by crew and ATO staff. * Mobile Device Management (MDM): Utilize MDM solutions to enforce security policies, push updates, and remotely wipe or lock lost devices. * Asset Tracking: Maintain an accurate, real-time inventory of all devices, tracking assignments, hardware health, and replacement schedules. **ATO Network & Device Management** * Network Administration: Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot Wi-Fi connections within the ATO facility to ensure uninterrupted access for operational and training devices. * Access Control: Ensure secure and reliable network authentication for both corporate-issued and authorized bring-you (BYOD) devices. * Infrastructure Support: Act
