Full Job Description

Overview: SOSi is seeking a highly qualified IT Database Specialist to join our team in Fort Belvoir, VA to support our government customer. The IT Database Specialist will perform as a technical expert in the area of database management and administration to support the operation, maintenance, and modification of the ARIMS family of applications. Essential Job Duties: * Develop and implement solutions to complex database problems requiring originality and ingenuity. * Serve as a technical specialist in application software and information management or as a systems integration generalist. * Ensure compliance with Army software requirements, maintaining system integrity with only Army-approved software. * Provide expert knowledge and support for GOTS applications, including ARIMS and its associated systems and infrastructure. * Liaise with various groups within the Contractor and partner companies to facilitate integrated and cohesive solutions. * Proactively update and advise Government IT personnel on possible solutions to technical issues. * Troubleshoot technical problems related to application software, technical information management, systems integration, and GOTS applications. * Act as a liaison with other groups inside the program. ## Qualifications Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate degree in engineering, scientific, technical, or business management disciplines from an accredited college or university. * A minimum of 7 years of specialized database experience ideally in an area relevant to Army Records Management. * An active in scope Secret security clearance. * Proficiency in GOTS applications and systems, especially ARIMS, and familiarity with its technical infrastr
