Must Have

High School diploma or equivalent, 1 year of relevant experience, Basic understanding of IT technologies, computers, printers, scanners, operating systems, Microsoft productivity suite, Customer service skills, empathy, recognition of urgency, Ability to maintain composure, Open minded, flexible, Ability to follow direction, ask appropriate questions, Good verbal communication skills, Good written communication skills, Ability to manage own work, Ability to complete own work, Ability to accurately describe technical issues

Nice to Have

Previous service desk experience, Data Center operations experience, Ability to accurately describe technical issues, Aptitude for learning hardware troubleshooting skills, Aptitude for learning software troubleshooting skills

What You'll Do.

Provide first level Data Center systems support

Provide Service Desk phone support

Provide basic systems monitoring

Provide desktop support

Provide application support

Troubleshoot and resolve issues

Resolve routine technical problems

Report urgent technical problems

Report emergency technical problems

Complete daily system health checks

Monitor Primary Data Center operations

Monitor Second Data Center operations

Monitor peripheral equipment

Protect against unauthorized access

Participate in after-hours maintenance

Perform supplemental tasks

Clean compute equipment

Assist with receiving

Assist with stocking equipment

Follow operational policies

Follow operational procedures

Provide input on modifications

Assist in meeting operational goals

Keep abreast of current IT technologies

Maintain working knowledge of systems

Maintain working knowledge of technologies

Participate in team initiatives
