Department of Information Technology (NCDIT) serves as the Technology Center for the State of NC. Services that NCDIT provides reach a client base of state and local government agencies, as well as schools, colleges and universities. NCDIT’s mission is to enable trusted business-driven solutions that meet the needs of North Carolinians. NCDIT provides technology services to state agencies and is charged with closing the digital divide by expanding availability of broadband services and promoting the adoption of affordable, high-speed internet. **Description of Work** Salary Range: $65,607 - $98,412 Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We currently have an opening for an IT Contracts Specialist! This position may be eligible for hybrid remote work in accordance with state policy and the agency’s remote work program but does require weekly onsite work. This is a REPOST. The IT Contracts Specialist will be responsible for developing, reviewing, analyzing, evaluating and approving high-level, complex, and Project-designated IT requests and solicitation documents for State entities. This employee will utilize available procurement resources and best procurement practices; utilize technical writing skills and procurement lifecycle knowledge to review and approve documents developed by State entities. Key Responsibilities: • Reviewing, editing, and making recommendations on IFB’s, RFQ’s and Amendments • Overseeing the evaluation of offers and award recommendations • Establishing and maintaining contracts • Assisting in the resolution of contract disputes • Interpreting applicable laws, rules, and policies to agency personnel, contractors and Vendors • Conducting market research to stay abreast of changes in t
