About the role # We are seeking an experienced and driven IT Audit Manager to lead the planning, execution, and reporting of end-to-end IT internal audit engagements. This role is instrumental in providing independent assurance over the effectiveness of the organisation’s IT controls, risk management practices, and governance processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of audit delivery, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering clear, concise audit reports. In addition, the role plays a critical part in constructively challenging management to continuously enhance the organisation’s control environment and ensure alignment with best practices. **What you’ll be doing** * Work with the Head of Audit for direction; but ultimately lead the end-to-end audit. * Build and maintain strong professional relationships with senior stakeholders across the business to influence improvements in the risk and control frameworks. * Help Hargreaves Lansdown accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management and control processes across all business areas, influencing them to make improvements. * Apply strong analytical skills to consider how data can be mined for data lead insights and effective audit testing. * Work on one’s own initiative or leading small teams that may include third party auditors using strong management and coaching skills. * Confidently feed into the audit
